The FORE Tour
Unofficially Sponsored by La Prima Tequila
A 3-Day Tour to FOrget REality
The Ones We Won't Forget
'Uncle' Russ Ulrich: For those who may not know, Russ Ulrich was Regional manager for Aflac for 25+ years. A group of us on the Tour worked with him, and even some of us he hired. He became our 'Uncle' over the years, and not necessarily due to his oversee at work, but mainly because Uncle Russ had a heart that was bigger than any we've seen. His generousity and love throughout the years may never be matched. His friendship is why we all know each other now...why this Tour began. You see, Russ also loved to golf. At his age he couldn't hit em' long, but he could could em' straight everytime! A long time ago a group of us did something similar to this Tour...3 days of golf, 2 overnights, & scramble format to win some cash. And in time as Russ got older this event went away. We always talked about starting one ourselves, but we never did. Regretfully, Russ passed away on March 5, 2014 at 68 years old. With everything Russ has done for me personally, I wanted to honor his memory by moving forward with the passion he loved and missed. A few days after his passing, The FORE Tour was created. I know our principle is to FOrget REality, but help me honor my friend by not Forgetting Him. In memory of Uncle Russ.
Todd Adelman: For those who may not know, Todd Adelman was a good friend and co-worker at Aflac for many years. I got the honor of knowing Todd when he became a District Manager for our Team in Independence. He was a guy who always made you laugh and always said what was on his mind. He was also there when you needed someone to talk to. A professional smoker and "skittle water" drinker, he also enjoyed the outdoors; particularly hunting and golf. Throughout the years we've made memories and stories that will never be forgotten. In January 2016, Todd was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in which he battled for 9 months strong. It may have been the strongest we have ever seen him because he never gave up and always stayed positive. Todd passed away on September 24, 2016. Please honor our friend Todd by never Forgetting Him.
